Vegan Cinnamon Biscuits
2 cups unbleached flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tbsp baking soda (aluminum free)
1 tbsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
¼ cup of vegan butter (cold)
1 ½ cup of almond or non-dairy milk (cold)
Add unbleached and wheat flour to a large mixing bowl. Next add baking soda, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Then stir all together next add in vegan butter and almond milk. Stir thoroughly to make sure that all of the butter is evenly into the mix.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Then portion out the size of biscuits you would like and place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
Place biscuits in the oven and let them bake at 425 degrees for 10-15 mins or until cooked all the way through.
